SUMMARY:LCR Data Community of Practice - Show & Tell
DESCRIPTION:We’re back in real life at the beautiful Sandon room in the Bluecoat! \n \nBook your free ticket \n \nLCR Data Community of Practice is back with an in-person lunchtime gathering to explore\, share and learn. \nFollowing on from our last session where we delved into the challenges of working with data in the waste industry\, we are coming together in a ‘Show and Tell’ format\, offering the chance to listen to and discuss developing and ongoing data-related projects in the city region. \nThe ‘Show and Tell’ consists of six 5-minute talks where presenters introduce people to their work. When the talks finish\, people then join tables where the individual presenters dive into more detail and lead a conversation related to their area of interest. \nIf you fancy sharing your work with the community\, please get in touch at kirsty@lcrdcp.org. The format is flexible so you can do a presentation\, talk\, demo\, or whatever you prefer – just as long as it relates to data practice. \nThere will also be a chance for community shout-outs at the end of the session\, so if you are organising something that might be of interest to the group\, please share it then. \nRefreshments will be provided but do feel free to bring your lunch! \nWho is the LCR Data Community of Practice? \nWe are a group of people from across the region’s data ecosystem that work in or are interested in working with data. We have quarterly in-person meet-ups around lunchtime with online events in between. Our events are informal\, welcoming and free. \nFor any questions about this event\, please contact Dr Kirsty Styles at kirsty@lcrdcp.org \nThis event is organised by Open Data Manchester CIC in partnership with the Civic Health Innovation Labs (CHIL) at the University of Liverpool. \n \nBook your free ticket
