SUMMARY:LCR Data Community of Practice - What a waste!
DESCRIPTION:Why waste data is so rubbish \n \nBook your free ticket \n \nBuilding on a talk from May’s Show and Tell event\, October’s session takes a longer look at one of the UK’s most grimy industries\, waste crime\, which costs the English economy £1 billion each year. \nWe will be hearing from two speakers who will share why and how accessing good data about waste is such a sticky problem. Our first speaker is Sophie Walker\, CEO and co-founder of Southport-based Dsposal. \nImportant information: This event will take place online via Zoom. We will send out a link to join the session on the morning of the event and 30 minutes before the start time.  \nWho is the LCR Data Community of Practice? \nWe are a group of people from across the region’s data ecosystem that work in or are interested in working with data. We have quarterly in-person meet-ups around lunchtime with online events in between.
