Design Justice Node Greater Manchester exploratory

The Design Justice Network is an international community of people who interested in and affected by design and its application.
It challenges the ways that design and designers can harm those who are marginalised through creating systems of power, and tries to create a world that is safer, more just and sustainable.
The network is underpinned by nodes of practitioners and advocates who uphold the principles of design justice, and we want to bring together people to see if a Design Justice Node in Greater Manchester will help people explore, develop and celebrate design practices that uphold these principles.
To kick things off we are organising an online meeting at 3pm (BST) on Wednesday 20 April 2022 to introduce the Design Justice Network and see if people are up for forming a node.
