Open:Data:Night Live @ MozFest 2022

April 26, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm BST

Open Data Night logo

When the pandemic hit in 2020, like most other meetup groups, Open Data Manchester took our events online.

And while we’ve certainly not been idle, we’ve missed getting together under one roof, and being able to celebrate all the fun and interesting data-based projects that Manchester has to offer.

Join us for our first LIVE Open:Data:Night in more than two years, part of the Ethical Dilemma Cafe, which is being brought to you by BBC R&D, the University of Lancaster and MozFest.

This is your chance to show off your digital doodles, knitted numbers or pie-chart art. Perhaps you’ve taken data into the analogue world over lockdown, coded something fun, or discovered something really elegant in your data wanderings?

There are a number of five to 10-minute slots available to show off what you’ve done, how you did it – and maybe even explain how doing data has kept you sane over this tumultuous couple of years.

If you have something you’d like to present, get in touch with sam [at] opendatamanchester.org.uk.

About the Ethical Dilemma Cafe

The Ethical Dilemma Cafe is a workshop, a hack space, and a gathering of folks who want to question the accessibility of our personal preferences online to big tech. It is also for those who want to highlight the constant dilemma we face every day online around sharing, giving away, and equesting control of who we are online, i.e. our data. More info.
