Open:Data:Night – People-powered Data Governance
September 28 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm BST
How to put the people into data-governance design processes – and why we need systems designed by and for everyone
Open Data Manchester has spent 10 years convening as a community of individuals and organisations that believe data is important, and want it to be used for the benefit of people, places and the planet.
We’re starting the ‘Autumn term’ with an Open:Data:Night that will frame some of the biggest challenges we’ve heard from those working towards these ideals, as well as exploring the latest work being done to overcome them, particularly in the collaborative development of the Declaration for Responsible and Intelligent Data Practice.
Register on Eventbrite here.
This event will take place online via Zoom. We will send out a link to join the session on the morning of the event and 30 minutes before the start time.
The talks will be recorded and made available online.
Open Data Manchester is an inclusive community – everyone is welcome. Please take a minute to read our community code of conduct.
